Job Title: Technical Trainee
Reports to : Technical Manager
Roles & Responsibilities:
· Conduct daily visits to farmers’ ponds to provide technical support and guidance.
· Resolve farmers’ day-to-day operational issues and advise them on water quality, pond preparation, and overall pond management.
· Conduct product demonstrations and educate farmers on the correct usage, dosage, and benefits of aquaculture products.
· Monitor pond parameters, disease symptoms, and growth performance and share timely recommendations.
· Maintain regular follow-ups with farmers to ensure best farming practices and improved productivity.
· Collect field data such as stocking details, feed usage, growth rates, and harvest outcomes.
· Assist in implementing best aquaculture management practices promoted by the company.
· Generate product demand by building strong relationships with farmers and ensuring satisfactory service support.
· Submit daily/weekly field visit reports to the reporting manager.
· Support the sales and technical team during farmer meetings, training programs, and on-ground campaigns.
Desired Profile :
• Preferably Aquaculture or Marine degree or Fisheries science.
• Good communication and negotiation skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and maintain relationships.
• Self-motivated, and results-oriented.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
